Our school Sensory Room provides a calm, welcoming space where pupils can relax, regulate their emotions and engage their senses in a supportive environment. Through sensory activities, pupils can develop their focus, concentration and self-regulation skills while taking time to unwind when they feel overwhelmed.
The Sensory Room supports our commitment to the wellbeing of every child here in Realt na Mara, recognising that all pupils have different needs and that taking a break in a calm environment can help them feel safe, settled and ready to learn.
We are delighted to have this wonderful space in our school, helping us to create an inclusive environment where every child is supported to feel happy, confident and ready to thrive.
